School Field Visits at Paalaar Valley Collective Farms:
At Paalaar Urban Farms, we believe children learn best when they see, touch, and experience nature firsthand. As part of our social responsibility, we have opened the gates of our integrated farm at Paalaar Valley Collective Farms (near Paranur Toll Gate, close to Mahindra World City) for meaningful school field visits.
Important note: This is not a picnic.
This is an interactive experiential learning session.
What Students Experience:
During the visit, students will:
- Understand integrated farming systems
- Observe livestock management
- Learn how soil, water, and crops work together
- Explore tree-based farming and natural ecosystems
- Appreciate where food truly comes from
Our goal is to nurture awareness about sustainability, agriculture, and responsible living.
Points to note:
✔ Permitted only on Working Days (Monday–Friday)
✔ Completely Free of Cost (No commercial intent)
✔ Prior booking via email is mandatory
✔ Structured as an educational exposure program

Batch Size & Supervision:
To ensure quality learning and safety:
- Maximum 50 students per batch
- Mandatory ratio: 1 Teacher for every 10 students
- Teachers must supervise students at all times
- Larger groups must be divided across separate dates.
Safety & Responsibility:
Paalaar Valley is a working farm with open land, livestock, water bodies, uneven terrain, and farm tools.
Student safety is entirely the responsibility of the visiting school and its accompanying teachers. Under no circumstances shall Paalaar Urban Farms Private Limited, its directors, employees, staff, or contractors be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, accident, or unforeseen mishap occurring during the visit.
Schools must:
- Maintain discipline throughout the visit
- Ensure students follow all instructions
- Obtain parental consent in advance
- Take responsibility for any damage caused
Running, climbing structures, or disturbing animals is strictly prohibited.
Environmental Responsibility:
Plastic littering is strictly prohibited.
All plastic wraps, bottles, covers, and other waste brought by students must be taken back by the school.
The farm premises must be left clean and litter-free at all times.
We expect visiting institutions to support and reinforce environmental responsibility among students.
Dress Code & Preparation:
- Comfortable outdoor clothing
- Closed footwear (sports shoes mandatory)
- Caps and water bottles recommended
- Inform coordinators in advance about allergies or medical conditions

Those interested in getting into goat farming can buy some goats and entrust them to our farm to start with. We will maintain your goats for a monthly fee. In the process, goat owners can get the platform to learn the techniques and challenges involved in goat farming.
