More importantly, Paalaar Meadows is a gated farm community, with farmhands and livestock within the community. This means that even when you visit your farmhouse for a weekend, you are not staying in complete isolation, there are familiar people living and working within the gated community, creating a more active and watchful environment.

An orchard is not the same as a farmhouse. We believe a farmhouse should have a variety of trees, plants and biodiversity, along with a home that reflects the owner's taste and lifestyle. That is why we develop your farmhouse from scratch, based on your preferences and budget. You choose the trees, landscaping and overall character of your farm, and we help bring it to life.

We love seeing the joy and sense of accomplishment our customers experience as their farmhouse slowly evolves into a green, living space. This would not be possible if we simply created a gated farm community in an existing orchard, where there may be only one or two varieties of trees.

Rest assured, within about 3 years, you could be taking fruits home from trees planted by you and your family.

A farmhouse is more than just a house. It should have space for a lawn, driveway or pathway, kitchen garden, fruit trees, pets and livestock, and perhaps even a pond, in addition to the house itself. A plot smaller than 10,000 sq. ft. may therefore defeat the very purpose of owning a farmhouse.

That is why we believe 10,000 sq. ft. should be the minimum land extent required for a proper farmhouse—giving you enough space to create not just a house, but your own little farm and a different way of living.

Since we provide water to your plot for tree maintenance and farming activities, you do not necessarily need a separate electricity connection while we are taking care of your plot under our maintenance agreement.

However, when you decide to manage your farm and farmhouse yourself, or when you decide to construct a farmhouse, you can obtain a separate electricity connection for your property.

The clubhouse is essentially an interim arrangement for our customers. Most of our customers eventually prefer to build a farmhouse of their own on their plot. The clubhouse is provided so that you and your family can visit, spend time and stay at the farm while your plot is being developed and your own farmhouse is being planned and built.

Our preference is that, over time, each owner creates a farmhouse of their own, reflecting their individual taste and lifestyle. As more owners build their own farmhouses, the need for the clubhouse naturally diminishes. Therefore, the clubhouse should be viewed as a transitional facility- not a permanent substitute for your own farmhouse.

Absolutely. The land is yours. You are free to carry out farming and develop your farmhouse on your own. There is no compulsion to use our services.

Many landowners have tried to develop and manage a farm from their homes in Chennai, only to find it difficult to sustain over time. Managing a farm remotely is not easy. This is where we come in and offer our managed farming and maintenance services. Our role is to complement your efforts, not replace them. Whether you choose to manage your farm yourself or take our help, the choice is entirely yours.

Until you build your farmhouse and start managing your farm independently, you can make use of the shared livestock facilities at Paalaar Meadows and pay for the applicable maintenance and care services.

Once you have built your own farmhouse and are residing there, you can keep and care for your cattle and goats on your own land and manage them yourself. Of course, you can also continue to seek our assistance if you need it.
